 In November of 2018, the concept for Caldwell Winchell & Company became a reality when the owner and his associate opened a booth in an antique mall in Oxford, MS. The idea was to provide to the public: great finds, antiques and one of a kind architectural items at prices that were affordable. The combination of a friendship and a willingness to succeed, was instrumental in keeping the effort together despite the effect of COVID-19. When the Oxford location was closed due to the virus, the owner, at the suggestion of his associate, rented a building in downtown Grenada, MS. The shop opened its doors to the public on June 15th of this year and takes on consignment items from individuals as well as items collected by the owner and his associate. The shop owner sees beyond a store and creates an environment of beauty and serenity. You can usually find shoppers just sitting and visiting in the store. Come and shop or just browse. Mostly enjoy yourselves! Enjoy looking at original art work, beautiful pottery and lots of ambiance. Try the best cheese straws in Mississippi. The shop is open six days a week from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Bobby Garrick
Since graduating college and majoring in architectural design, R. Caldwell Garrick (Bobby) has designed and/or help design houses in Sea Side, Atlanta, St. Louis, Dallas and Houston. Texas, and Mississippi. Throughout his career as a banker and acquisition and research agent in the oil and gas industry, Bobby has continued to use his design talents quenching his love and passion for architectural and interior design.
